Common questions
How do Congress stock alerts work?
Follow a member of Congress and AlphaYou emails you when a new trade of theirs is filed. Free accounts get one digest a day. Pro sends each alert as it fires.
How fast are Congress stock alerts?
Members must report a trade within 30 days of learning of it, and no later than 45 days after it happened. An alert fires when the filing appears, so it can trail the trade by weeks. Each alert shows both dates.
Are Congress stock alerts free?
Yes. The Congress and White House trackers are free forever, with no card, and a free account gets the daily digest. Pro adds instant delivery and more trackers.
Can I get alerts for one member, such as Nancy Pelosi?
Yes. Press Follow on a member's row in the Congress tracker, and their new filings come to your email.
Do alerts tell me what to buy?
No. An alert reports a filing as filed: who, what, when and how much. It is not advice. Public filings, shown as filed. Federal law (5 U.S.C. 13107) limits some uses.
