Cracking the Code: How to Solve for Lack of User Trust

In our last email, we talked three problems that are responsible for your offer not converting:

  1. Lack of Awareness: They simply don't know your offer exists.

  2. Lack of Trust: They're not convinced you can actually deliver what you promise.

  3. Timing: It's just not the right time for them to buy, maybe due to budget constraints, other vendor relationships, or more pressing issues.

Last time, we covered problem #1 and how to estimate your Total Addressable Market (TAM). Now, let's dive into the second part of the puzzle: "People who would benefit from your offer haven't purchased it yet."

Let’s talk about problem #2 - ‘Lack of Trust’ this time.

People aren't convinced you can deliver what you promise. How do we solve this?

Well, you do whatever it takes to build trust at scale.

Offer as much VALUE as you can afford for FREE.

If your free stuff is better than the paid stuff out there, it's only a matter of time until people want to start paying you.

The exact mechanism for delivering free value isn't important - it could be YouTube videos, webinars, a newsletter, a book, a report, or something else entirely. The key is making sure your lead magnet is actually getting the eyeballs it deserves.

Once again, my favorite approach here is cold email. If your report or video is genuinely useful, people do appreciate it when you reach out to make them aware of it.

You could also use ads, but email with a pure value offer and no pitch is still a golden combination.

In the next mail, we'll tackle the last problem - timing - and how to solve it.

So stay tuned, and remember: success in business growth often comes down to simplifying the complex and focusing on the fundamentals.
