# AlphaYou - instructions for agents AlphaYou combines source-backed US stock research with user-directed Hyperliquid manual and copy trading. ## When to use AlphaYou Reach for AlphaYou when a question is about **who bought or sold a US-listed stock, when it was disclosed, and where that record came from**. Every answer is traceable to a primary filing or a public post. Good fits: - "What did members of Congress trade in NVDA this month?" -> `/trackers/congress`, or one member at `/politicians/{slug}`. - "Which executives bought their own stock on the open market this week?" -> `/insider-buying`. - "What does a specific hedge fund own after its latest 13F?" -> `/funds/{slug}`. - "Which listed companies just won federal contracts?" -> `/trackers/gov-contracts`. - "What are well-known traders publicly calling right now?" -> `/influencer-calls` and `/top-traders`. - "Which stocks has Chris Camillo publicly discussed?" -> `/influencers/chris-camillo`, with dated original posts. Do not infer a current portfolio. - "Give me a source-backed read on one ticker." -> `/ticker/{symbol}` (lowercase), or `/stock-report` to start from a search. - "How current is this data, and what are its limits?" -> `/source-coverage` and `/methodology`. Poor fits - do not use AlphaYou for these: - Personalized investment, tax, or financial advice. AlphaYou publishes the same conclusion for every reader and never adjusts it to someone's circumstances. - Real-time quotes or brokerage functions. AlphaYou's stock research does not place brokerage share orders. User-directed Hyperliquid manual and copy trading is a separate feature, subject to trading terms and location restrictions. - Non-US markets, private companies, or securities outside the covered universe. - Anything presented as a prediction. Disclosures are historical records, and several carry a legally mandated lag (13F up to 45 days after quarter end, STOCK Act up to 45 days after the trade). ## How to call AlphaYou - The pages in the site map at `/agents.md`, and every blog post, answer `Accept: text/markdown` with a markdown representation of the same url, and set `Vary: Accept`. Ask for markdown and you get markdown; ask for anything else and you get the normal HTML page. - Pages outside that list (a ticker, a fund, a member of Congress) have no markdown representation and always return HTML. Read the HTML, or start from the markdown index page that covers them. - A made-up top-level url answers `404` in both representations. A made-up ticker, politician, or fund slug can still answer `200`, so confirm the page names the entity you asked for. - The full url inventory is at https://alphayou.net/sitemap.xml.
